I really enjoyed this! John feeling like a jerk, being jealous, makes total sense to me. I liked the bit about John trying to concentrate on Rodney's unattractive qualities, and having to shift the list around. I particularly like the realism of John and Rodney being "not nice" to each other sometimes, and that's something I don't often find in fic. Good stuff, thanks for sharing it!
