The writing was truly terrible on so many levels even when you ignore the offensive and problematic aspects. The sister monster is supposed to be so much more dangerous, but she's defeated in like 5 minutes? It's just littered with plot holes and characterization inconsistency. Every writing choice feels like it was made solely for shock value. It's shallow.
