Remember The Cutting Edge? That figure skating movie w/ Moira Kelly and D. B. Sweeney where the hockey player becomes a figure skater and it's like Taming of the Shrew, or what I assume Taming of the Shrew to be like since I never actually read Taming of the Shrew?

I love this movie.

I love it deeply in my twisted little soul. I am, after all, one of the children of the corn 80's.

They're remaking my movie.

With Will Ferrell.

And Napolean Dynamyte.

More awesome than an awesome thing. They had a trailer for this when I went to see Norbit (DONT ASK, I was roped into it, roped into it), and it was funnier than I can say. Looks great :)

Got here by way of a friend, who had to put up with my gushing over The Cutting Edge just a week or so ago, which somehow resulted in both of us giggling over a Stargate-Cutting Edge fusion fic in which Sheppard is an ex-hockey player and McKay is the snarky diva and I was so convinced it couldn't be written properly and now they do this my brain is broken.
