Announcement!
Uhm, okay. Yeah. So after I posted that fic yesterday morning, 18 people friended me. [Edit] Make that 23.

I have to assume these people friended me pretty much only for my QaF fic. I'm not really used to people friending me only for my fic. In fact, I'm not used to people friending me without me friending them first. So I figure an announcement is in order.
First of all, my journal is public. I don't filter anything. Frankly, I don't believe in filtering anything. If I say something someone doesn't like and get flamed, I'll probably put the flame in my memories under the title, "OMG someone actually flamed me! How cool is that!"
Secondly, every so often I will go off on a rant. I'll rant about fandom politics, mostly. I'll whine. I'll squee. I try to be funny. It seems to work, most of the time. I have my fair share of strong opinions.
One last note -- QaF is not my only fandom. Not even close. I've been in this fandom for a little under a month and a half. I've been reading fanfiction for a little over two years. Before I discovered QaF I was scarily obsessed with Everwood. I still have an Everwood project in the works. I'm very much into The O.C., especially anything to do with Julie/Luke. I used to be much more active in the Harry Potter fandom, and plan on being active in it again, someday. I love stories for rare fandoms and stories with rare pairings. I'll probably recc a few finds on my journal from time to time. I read and write slash, het, femslash, and threesome.
The subject matter of my posts depends on the waxing and waning of my interests. So if one day you find that my recent posts are rather empty of QaF related writings, don't say I didn't warn you.
As to my friending policy -- it's right there in my userinfo. Sadly, no one ever reads my userinfo, so I'll repeat it here. I friend everyone who friends me. I like meeting new people. I like diversity on my friends list. I'll defriend you if you do something to really annoy or offend me. This isn't likely to happen. I'll defriend you if you defriend me, unless I find your journal particularly interesting, in which case I'll keep you friended.

I live in Ogden, Utah...10 minutes from where they film the outside shots. Every chance I get, I lure my S.O. into eating downtown on 25th street, so I can gaze at the doctors' offices and the diner. Chicks dig pale, scrawny guys and I dig Gregory.
