lierdumoaRough write-up of a phone conversation I had earlier today:
Syd: Remember Bill Nye the Science Guy?
Me: Yeah. He had that huge nose. Like Snape. Except, you know, completely unlike Snape.
Syd: Like Snape's kid brother.
Me: Oh my God, yes! Squib. Shame of the family.
Syd: He wanted to be just like his big brother and that's why he became a chemist.
Me: And got his own tv show and his 15 minutes of muggle fame.
Just think of the possibilities. A beautiful twist on the bad!fic cliche of the mysterious American exchange student who turns out to be related to Severus.
Somebody needs to write this. Somebody not me.
