Left windows open last night only to lie under a thin quilt and almostbutnotquite shiver. It's 53* Fahrenheit outside. Oh yes, I spelled that right on the first try. I am the bomb diggity.

Forgot to wash clothes. OMGWTFneedsocks.

I got spaggel addicted to One Piece. She's having her revenge by sending me episodes of Samurai Champloo. Either she won't tell me what it's about or I don't remember because I really wasn't all that coherent when I was talking to her last night from 12:16 - 2:35 in the morning (okay, I'm guessing a little, but those numbers are about right).

Holy crap I'm watching it now. It has the most awesomeretarded themesong EVAR. And from what I can tell of the intro sequence, it looks like good vidders made this. Hopefully that will extend to the show itself.

Why do you hate me Sydhead? Whyyyyyyy?!? Don't you know I'm woefully behind on my VividCon projects and I have less than a month left to turn them in? You promised to mail me episodes -- swear you'll wait till after July 15.

Did I mention I have class today at 9:00am? I really need to get ready for class.

The most annoying thing about watching anime? I open up another window on my computer only to remember that it's all in Japanese and I can't follow the plot by sound alone.

I went and re-read Matthew Haldman-Time's Oz/Lindsey fic last night between 2:36 and 3:00am. Funny how every time I read it, it still ends on a cliffhanger.

Also, if you're ever in the situation where you haven't eaten greens so long you're sure you're going to die soon, let me just say that eating a bowlful of raw peas? Maybe not the best solution.

Samurai Champloo is excellent and swings back and forth between "this is really cool!" and "This is COMPLETE CRACK!" The episodes start with small swings and end up with pretty wide swings between the drama/crackmonkey poles by the end of the series. But by then you're so involved that the idea of ninja baseball is taken completley in stride. ("But the dog has a REALLY SMALL strike zone!")

Samurai Champloo is the bestest! I keep watching it and thinking, man this would pretty pretty vids, but then I realize it just is one big vid, and sort of lose my ambition to go looking for any. ;D

I have a vid idea for it to "Take Me to the Hospital" by The Faint -- this so-bad-it's-funny rap song I got off my flist forever ago. It seems to fit based on the one episode I've seen. That project will have to wait, though.
