Okay, so I'm a lazy bum
Dec. 21st, 2003 03:30 amI got almost nothing done today that I planned to get done. Insert random expletives here.
Things I did get done: I got to hang out with my sister. I ate at two good restaurants. I overloaded on chocolate (mmmm....chocolate....). I watched a very charming movie with Heather Graham called Guru (very cute romantic comedy). I then watched Lost Boys, also known as the 80's horror flick. Set the standard for future vampire flicks, and all that junk. Loved it, by the way. Young Kiefer Sutherland with a mullet -- good stuff.
Okay, my Jake 2.0 recap for last Wednesday's episode is long overdue. Not that anyone actually requires me to write recaps. I just like to write them because people like
taraljc and
queenofalostart and
deeablo usually read them and leave comments (and I'm a big comment whore). Plus, writing recaps gives me an excuse to watch the episodes over again.
So here it is. My viewer's response, in all it's glory.
( Jake 2.0 recap )
It occurs to me that I won't be able to make icons for the next few weeks. All my icon making software is on my desktop PC and I can't take that with me when I go back to California for the holidays (my plane leaves today, in about 10 hours). That, and my dad won't let me download the needed programs on his computer.
Soooo...I'm spending tonight making icons rather than writing chapter 5. Don't worry, though -- I'm only postponing the writing for a day. So let me revise my previous statement and say that
daylight_shadow and
amariel have permission to greviously injure me if I don't have ch. 5 in by 7am on Monday -- as opposed to three and a half hours from now. I plan on writing it all on the plane ride. After all, I won't have anything better to do.
