So I had an appointment today, and afterwards, I walked to the mall (which was located about a block away from my appointment) and shopped. Wheee! I think it might have been the first time I ever went shopping without friends or parents with me. I think I prefer shopping alone. And now I'm going to annoy you all by writing out the whole thing without using cut tags.

Anyway, I got two racerback tank tops with built in bras from Express. There was a sale of two for $24.50, and I looked hot in them, so I bought a pink one and a light blue one. Bonus! For once the built in bra wasn't too small for my tits. Finally someone who understands that just because I'm short enough to fit into a small doesn't mean I'm an A cup. Afterwards I bought a loofah at The Body Shop, then went shopping for jeans. Dude, I hate shopping for jeans. They never fit right. I'm five feet tall, and even the petite sizes are usually a little long on my legs. So for two solid hours I walked from end to end of the mall three times (I'd say I covered about half a mile, there), visiting something like eight stores and trying on about fifteen pairs of jeans. I finally found what I wanted: size 5 short stretch-denim low rise jeans for the semi-reasonable price of $36.50 (the Gap had a nice pair as well, but it was for $58.00, and I was like -- oh, fuck no).

They look a lot like my old pair, actually, but without the giant holes in the inner thighs or a key ring holding the fly together from where the button fell out.

"Come on Home" by Franz Ferdinand was playing in the Gap. That was kind of unexpected.
