Some things I failed to take care of earlier.

First off -- belated birthday wishes. parkergray had her birthday on the twenty-third. evenstarjuliet had hers on the twenty-fourth. The former is a fellow Everwood fan. I haven't done much in that fandom aside from icons, lately, and probably won't do much until the new season starts. I hope she's been somewhat entertained by my journal in the meanwhile.

evenstarjuliet, of course, is my best friend at MIT. She got me into this bad habit of cursing like a sailor over every little thing, God bless her. We were roomates over the summer, working together in the same summer program, better known as hell.

I hope both of you had very nice birthdays and enjoyed Christmas.



I have icon making to take care of. Since I can't actually make them until I get back from vacation (all my software is on my desktop PC back in my dorm), so I'll just talk about them. First off, an animated one. Will have a background with an image of the Playboy bunny logo (pink bunny on black background). first frame: "the pr0nbunny" second frame: "it's like a plotbunny" third frame: "without the plot" (this is a work in progress, you understand, and subject to change) Also -- vidicon with a pic of the lead singer of smashing pumpkins and a shot of a butterfly fluttering it's wings (from the music video for "Bullet With Butterfly Wings"). Still have to make an X-men icon. Maybe a Storm one that says "Bad Weather Coming" or a Lady Deathstrike (Amiko? Umiko?) one with her claws drawn. Or, you know, a Bobby one. Cause I love Bobby. He's the cutest. And he likes the cold, just like me. I still need a BtVS icon. I have the episode "Fool for Love" downloaded, so I'm probably going to make a vidicon related to that, or maybe a regular animated icon with two frames, the first being a shot of Buffy saying "who can love you" and a second frame with a shot of Spike on his knees and the words "and still be standing" (lyrics from "Another Girl's Paradise" by Tori).

We'll see.



As for Christmas, I did fine, I suppose. I got a nice sweater and a few gift certificates, a box of fabric softener sheets and a keyring, a cell phone (yay! cell phone!) and an IOU, and that's it. Oh wait, I also got a christmas e-card from daylight_shadow (thanks hon!). I might have gotten some actual christmas cards, but if I did they're in my mailbox back in Massachusetts and I won't see them until January 2nd. I still have shopping to do for the friends I haven't had the chance to meet up with yet. I'll be doing that today along with going to see Big Fish (I *love* Tim Burton).
