Summary: In which Jonathan and Martha are trailer trash, Lana smokes, Lex is a quiet recluse, Pete is a flaming queen, Chloe's a ditz, and Clark's a delinquent with a heart of gold. PG-13; 52 KB
Why I love it: I honestly don't know. It just works. Total alternate universe where everything's only vaguely recognizable, and yet the story managed to suck me in. This fic is just fun to read.
Time and Chance by Dayspring
Summary: Clark gets Lex pregnant. Lex is not happy. Lex nearly dies. A lot. R; 630 KB
Why I love it: It's a good story. It's in character. This is one of the very few mpregs I've come across where Lex wasn't transformed into a total woman. Where he stayed Lex. Everyone's characterization is totally believable. The dialogue starts out a bit clunky and overly verbose, but the writing gets better as the story goes on. As you can see, this fic is obscenely long. I have a short attention span. That I finished it at all should tell you something about it's quality.

Summary: Clark want's Lex. Clark's alien biology decides that it must alter in order to accomodate Clark's choice of mate. So he changes into a girl and seduces Lex. And he really, really wants his cock back. So does Lex, for that matter. NC-17; 40 KB
Why I love it: Cause the sex is hot. Cause Clark is still Clark and Lex is still Lex and everything is fucked up and weird and there's delightful pronoun confusion and the sex is hot. Features plenty of both het that's actually slash and plain old slash.

Summary: Lex leaves SV after a very brief affair with Clark. A few years later he's still in love with Clark, Clark's still in love with him, and there's a charming little boy who looks like Lex and talks like lex and is in fact Clark's alien spawn. Features the grossest birth ever. Everything ends up happily ever after. PG-13; 194 KB
Why I love it: Cause it's good, I tell you. Again, characterization is great. Usually I hate original characters, especially children. This kid is actually quite likeable. Probably because he's so much like Lex. The story is engaging. I just love it, all around.
Friends Don't Let Friends Wear Plaid Schoolgirl Skirts bysabershadowkat (aka Henry Jones Jr.)
Summary: Lex calls Clark asking for a ride when he gets drunk/high at a party. Clark soon finds that Lex in this condition has few inhibitions, flirts shamelessly, and has no qualms trading clothing with the opposite sex. NC-17; 33 KB
Why I love it: Because Lex when high is, like, the best thing ever. There's a reason this is a fic cliche. He's still incredibly intelligent, he still has issues, only in such cases he's suddenly horny and random and lets things slip and pulls off that whole glassy eyed pale skinned pretty partygoer thing really well. This fic is...vaguely in character.
