Bad Timing by Anemone
Summary: Futurefic. Assumes Clark and Lex dated before the rift took place. Lex gets mugged. Clark has lost his powers due to underexposure to sun from a month of straight rain. Clark ends up saving Lex anyway, and the two work out their issues. R; 44 KB
Why I love it: This fic has to be one of my favorites. It's very well written. The Lex characterization is just gorgeous. It's got the wry humor and the casual genius down perfectly. Clark is well written as well. Really, my favorite thing about this fic is a scene at the end which is probably a tad too melodramatic but makes my heart catch in my throat every time I read it anyway. I won't spoil it by saying anything further about it here.

Bare the Cross by cjandre
Summary: Oi. Just realized I accidentally wrote the summary for this fic back on Sept. 29 when I was supposed to be writing the description for Dark and Lovely. Whoops! I'll just supplant it here, and go back and fix the other entry (see here). In the pilot, Clark was stripped to his underwear and hung on a cross. This story takes a look at the psychological and sexual traumas that could have arisen from this. Hurt/comfort. NC-17; 96 KB
Why I love it: It's very well written, and very well characterized. I found Clark very believable in this fic. The premise is intriguing and it plays out beautifully.

Billy Swanson by Lenore
Summary: Clark learns about the different kinds of love, and has to reevaluate some of his relationships. He has to decide to put up with Lex's issues. This fic doesn't have the perfect happy ending, but leaves the reader on a hopeful, if somewhat melancholy note. NC-17; 44 KB
Why I love it: I really like this author's perception of Clark. The fic is essentially about Clark growing up, and I think Clark's mindset and his thought processes and internal dialogue are presented in a really believable fashion.

Freud by Te
Summary: Clark learns to fly. In the process of his learning to fly, Lex ends up discovering his secrets. No convenient head wound, this time. Wet dreams come into play at some point. Some actual sex as well. NC-17; 32 KB
Why I love it: Gorgous Lex voice in this fic. Oh, but he snarks so beautifully. And Clark is so very Clark in this fic. The dialogue in this fic is absolutely delicious. As is the sex. Whee!

Fetish by seperis (also check out The Fetish Drabbles by Lady Angel)
Summary: Ambush!sex. Clark gets sick of Lex taunting him by wearing clothes all the time. Lex doesn't know whether to be turned on or worried that Clark has obviously gone totally insane. Shameless PWP. NC-17; 25 KB
Why I love it: Cause it's hot. And funny. Totally hilarious, in fact. Great internal dialogue for Lex. And did I mention hot?

Thanks for the recs! I've just finished the first one, Bad Timing. LOVED IT! What a fantastic story.
