vidding, again

I was vidding tonight. I spent an hour on eight seconds. I think I might have to clip more. I've made 109 clips. If there were any justice in the universe I would never have to clip again, and certainly not after completing only eight seconds. I would cry, but I don't have the energy right now.

Anyway, I'm done for the night. No, not because I've given up. Not because I have a headache or because my eyes burn. I do have a headache and my eyes do burn, but that's not why I'm done for the night. No, it's because my left eye has started twitching. I can vid with a headache. I can vid with my eyes burning. But twitching? I can vid while dead tired. But twitching? I draw the line there. I think it's my body's way of telling me, "Stop! Stop for the love of God you fucking freak of nature!"

After deciding I was done for the night, I called a few people to complain about my vidding woes. I realized suddenly what my pounding headache and sensitivity to light bore a chilling resemblance to hangover symptoms. Yes, I got a hangover. From my computer screen.

This is a new low.

On the plus side, those eight seconds look really, really cool.



I'm in an unnaturally good mood right now. A bitchy good mood. It's weird. I just spammed a fellow vidder's journal with some serious whinage. I'll probably feel guilty about that later. Right now, though, I'm feeling conscience free.

And wow. I really have to pee.

Heh. That's the thing about vidding. The styles and methods may differ, but the pain is pretty much universal.
