Concerning my vid timeline in Premiere:

Premiere's default is three tracks, btw. I added one to the top, then today added another to the bottom.There is only one point in the vid where I actually use all five tracks simultaneously.



Eh. Anyway. Defragmenting is done. Should restart now.

Well, you tend towards making vids with a lot of effects. More effects = more tracks. I have a tendency to use exactly the number of tracks I need. I think you like to give yourself more room to work with.

Actually, I had five tracks doing Superman, but two of those were just black video because of my problem with varying aspect ratios.

I checked, and my clips are definitely not interlaced. I played one or two at different magnifications and in Divx player and they're progressive.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the clips were all magnified, whearas there was no magnification involved going from clip to vid.

Well, in that case, it's probably good I decided to magnify the clips. If I hadn't I'd have had to deal with interlaced source and, like, eeeeew.
