Heard back from all my beta's. Know what I need to do. Now I have to, like, actually do it. Eeeeeew. I hate editing. Anyway, so I'm out of hate stage (TM khaleesian) now. I found there's actually an upside to hating my vid when I send it off for beta. I become totally immune to criticism. People are like, "It's good, BUT..." and I'm like, "...it's good?!?"

My plans are as follows -- finish vid tonight and post it to my LJ tomorrow morning. Post it to quarter_mile as soon as I finish "making of" -- probably Saturday. Post it to vidding on Nov. 22 after khaleesian posts her ship manifesto, so I can link back to it in my post. This was designed to be a recruiter vid, after all.



Back in real life, I'm spazzing over college applications. WAH! WAAAAAAAH!!!

I've been reading a few of your vidding posts recently and it's spooky - you vid exactly the same way I do. With the placing of a clips and then messing and messing with them, and then moving on to the next clip. I fine-tune mine to death before I let anyone see it. It's only recently I've started giving it earlier to my beta.

Ah, finally! Someone who vids like me.

One thing I've noticed is that most vidders seem terrified of black space. They will do everything they can to fill it in and then start editing. I, on the other hand, am perfectly happy fine tuning the last three seconds I added while the yawning void of two minute cliplessness waits patiently for me to move on.

I'll let other people see it, but that's just because I'm an exhibitionist. I have a reputation at my dorm as "that girl who makes those things."
