Vid ramble

Yes, I am still making my Almost Famous vid. Unfortunately I keep getting distracted.

For example, today it was thete1 and the truly spectacular sex scenes she wrote in her fic, Misdirection. Teen Titans slash. I don't know anything about this fandom, but hot damn.



So I was thinking about that vid Ninja of the Night -- one of my favorite anime vids, and I ended up looking up the vidder who made it. Turns out he made a One Piece vid, and oh, it was lovely yes, but it wasn't mine, you know, and it was such a guy vid. A far cry from my vidbunny that's all about "teh group sex luv and sense of family" ("Brand New Colony" by Postal Service). I think the fandom needs a woman's touch, you know? Well, not so much it needs a woman's touch as I'm going to give it a woman's touch and it's going to wail piteously, "Please, crazy lady, stop bad touching me!" only I won't stop; I'll just be like, "Take it like the fandom you are and call me Lionel Luthor, bitch" and the fandom will cry and cry and I will go to online vidders' prison and all the anime vidders will now know who I am and shun me.

In other news, I discovered a fabulous rasberry tea in the kitchen pantry. It didn't look like there was much tea in the bag, but one bag lasted me three cups and the tea is truly delicious. I want to alternately share the love so everyone can experience the tea and hoard it in my room because it's good and I'm greedy like that.

The music is delightfully folksy and strummy and I'm making up words but you get what I'm saying. Totally sounds like Firefly. Bonus! It's short as hell, which is good given the limited source I have to work with. I'm thinking I'll make this soon, and not let myself spend more than a weekend on it.
