So I just realised that I actually very strongly need to vid the Ameruhca song.

To The Faculty.

I mean, I can see the whole thing playing out in my head. It would be in the POV of the alien parasites, of course. I mean, omg people it just fits. So beautifully, terribly, beautifully well.

"You must carry on" -- it's the fight of the parasites to carry on their species omg

"Ameruhca, we stand as one" -- I can just see in my head that when all the football players take off their helmets and tip up their faces to the rain together while the parasites writhe out of their faces to drink up the water (they're acquatic, see) -- standing as one (as a hive mind) is the whole point of the movie, really

"I had to go, but it's okay / you see I'm with you in a different way" -- Delilah, before, and after with parasites writhing in her face

"Yes I still live / I did not die" When the possessed teacher loses her head, it grows tentatlces, walks it's way back towards her body, and she puts it back

The perfect clip-to-lyric matches. They just go on and on.

For those who don't know, btw. Fairly crappy horror flick. Aliens take over a high school. Has lots of big stars in it who weren't big stars yet when the movie was made.
