[livejournal.com profile] evenstarjuliet? I have to go to the kitchen...

It is 6:55 in the morning. I can't remember the last time I slept. I'm sure I'll look back on this entry later and find one or two stupid grammar errors because my grammar falters when I am exhausted. Upon finding these errors, I will curse vociferously before correcting them (notice how my vocabulary never falters no matter how tired I am). I have a late calculus problem set to finish and two physics problem sets to start (thankfully they are not due until tomorrow). I have put upbeat songs on my Windows Media Player playlist and caffeinated beverages in my immediate vicinity in the hopes that they will keep me awake. They're kind of like a support group, in a sense. A support group of loud music and Earl Grey tea (because at the moment I have access to neither coffee nor sugar).

Note to self: steal sugar packets from the local grocery as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

My roomate has been missing for...*counts*...*is too tired to count*...*gives up on the whole counting idea and restarts the sentence.*

My roomate has been missing for [insert number here] days. She went to Texas over the weekend to visit her family. Apparently she got a one-way ticket -- very strange, if you ask me. I assume she's coming back at some point because she left all of her belongings in our room.

I'm on my fourth cup of tea now. Well, not cup, really. I'm drinking out of a bottle that used to hold Odwalla brand smoothie. I'd say it holds about one and three fourths cups of tea. So, really, I'm on my seventh cup of tea. Oh look -- I can still add fractions. Go me. I've discovered that Early Grey doesn't taste half bad without sugar. English Breakfast would probably have more caffeine, but taste worse.

The calculus assignment I am currently trying to complete is long and unpleasant. The subject of the assignment is series. All kinds of mathematical series. Currently I'm trying to figure out how to convert an integral into a geometric series. I flipped through the book for about half an hour before referring to the glossary to find the section on geometric series. While flipping, I managed to somehow misread the term "telescopic" as "telepathic." For a moment there I though that there was such a thing as a series with psychic powers. It then occured to me to double check. I saw what the actual word was. I have now come to the conclusion that the series is not reading my mind (although I do suspect it is looking at me funny).

My stomach is starting to hurt. This always happens when I consume copious amounts of caffeine. Oh, look. I alliterated.

[livejournal.com profile] evenstarjuliet, I remember you asking me, "Why are we here? Our friends from highschool are going to colleges that would have paid *us* to attend." I remember I gave you a reason. I remember it was a good reason, I think. Remind me what it was. Please.

I've set my current mood as "sleepy" because there is no "fucked up and bitter" on the list of options. And a very merry un-birthday to me.

[Edit] My mommy mended the hole in my favorite jeans last weekend. I shall now walk proudly with Frankenstein-esque stitches gracing the back my left thigh. Cool beans.

[Edit 2] Holy shit. It's snowing outside. My thermostat reads 32* Fahrenheit exactly. Huh -- it'll probably melt by the time it hits the ground (I live on the 10th floor of my building) but you can see it on the tops of some of the buildings around me, just barely. There's a bright spot -- I am awake for the first snow of the year.
