See, this song? Is all about Harry/Peter (Spiderman). Harry POV. It's this sweet regretful country-ish lovesong with this undercurrent of OMGBITTERNESS. I could make you pay and pay...but I could never make you stay.

And it would give me a chance to practice bending source to music (as opposed to the usual picking music whose sound fits the source).


Why is it whenever I'm totally behind on making vids I start getting more vidbunnies?

What killed me about the second movie was just the *blatant* subtext between Harry and Peter and the obvious one-sidedness of it. That scene where Harry is breaking down in front of Peter like a jilted lover and Peter has this hurt, but mostly confused look on his face the whole time.

My roommate sees this song as a Norrington/Elizabeth song (PotC). It probably fits that movie better than it does Spiderman, but I like the idea of making it Harry POV because Harry is just twisted enough that he'd make Peter "pay and pay" even though he knows it wouldn't accomplish anything, just out of spite.
