lierdumoaWow. I should really never try to administer technical advice on sleep deprivation. I have a bad habit of skimming through questions and then answering the wrong thing and then backtracking only after I've written and posted an essay in the comment thread.
And then I'm incredibly embarrassed.
And probably a good deal more sleep deprived.
In other news, I think I'm growing as a vidder. I have two alternate versions of Dresden Dolls' "Girl Anachronism" (not a cover -- the same artist is doing both), and I actually picked the one I like less because I think it would make for a better vid. The words are more unintelligible in this version, but I think the words are pretty unintelligible in both versions because the lyrics go by so fast. The mood and style in this version fits better with the mixed source of the movie (three different filming styles), which is more important because this vid should (hopefully) be able to stand on it's own, even with incomprehensible lyrics. People might hate the song though.
Ah, well. Fuck other people! That's what I say!

falzalot at her get together tomorrow (yet). I really want to bring *something* in to show. I should stop doing shit last minute like this.
Then again, I work best when I do shit last minute. Hell, last VividCon I made a six minute vid in twelve days, including clipping and it was my first time using Adobe Premiere. Well, not counting the two hours or so I'd spent on it a couple months before figuring out how to import clips, cut, and crossfade, etc.

I know, I'm such a n00b.
Now, I originally planned to work on my auction vid tonight. Three reasons I'm working on my Gia vid instead. 1) I don't have to worry about weird tv interlacing 2) I have two hours, as opposed to 12 episodes of source (btwboniblithe I looked at the episode list on TV TOME and whatever happened to "Sabotage"?) and 3) I don't have to clip. I can actually get something done tonight. Also, naked Angelina Jolie.
It's all about the naked Angelina Jolie.
I'm probably not going to get to finish my Premieres vid -- the Seth/Ryan OC one. Unless I go even crazier than usual and finish my auction vid in two weeks or less. Hence, this vid is now my Premieres vid. Effectively. Yes.

And no crossfades. Maybe I god sick of them from my last two and a half vids, but I've been avoiding them like the plague for no particular reason.
And the average clip is roughly half a second long.
At least I'm still only on 3 tracks (probably because of the lack of crossfades).
