Because I need to procrastinate. Just a little.
Gia vid is, like, weird. It's weird in that I'm using effects I haven't used before that I didn't visualize in my head beforehand that I haven't seen anyone else use to my satisfaction and omg this vid is so *funny* looking. But not ugly. I don't think. Just funny looking. It's weird in that the beginning of the vid ended up a lot more lighthearted than I was expecting it. It's more lighthearted than the song -- at the beginning anyway. I'll more than make up for that by the end. But for now, the vid is all about girl power while the song is all about angst. The kind I like to call Courtney Love angst. Not exactly the most attractive kind of angst -- unless you're Angelina Jolie, and then everything looks attractive on you. But the vid is more lighthearted than the song, and makes the song sound more upbeat than it is and is that a good thing? I guess that's a good thing. Is that a good thing?
I've organized a style pattern. I was worried at first that I wouldn't know what to do with interspersing black and white footage, but as it turns out I'm dealing with it the same way I deal with timing -- I just stare at it till it looks right. So, all good there. I've done a few different styles in the first 50 seconds that hopefully I'll be able to stick with for the rest of the vid.
I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing for the credits.
Premiere is till bitching. I'm going to restart my computer in a second.
Wow, reading all that makes it sound like I'm being, like, a billion times more productive than I actually am.
