Did someone recc my vids somewhere? TF&TF and Simon!Vid specifically.

I checked my web stats a week or two ago and my TF&TF vid had been downloaded around fifty something times for the month. That's, like, average for me. I think. Last month it was 57. Anyway, I checked just now and the number was up to nearly 500. Simon!vid was downloaded 228 times this month. Stats for all other vids are normal (Oz vid in the 70's, everything else under 15). Supposedly all this downloading happened on Tuesday the 21st.

Hi! I think that might have been my fault - at least wrt TFATF. I made a fanmix for Brian/Dom and had a song that was set to your video, basically using The Chemical Between Us. I've posted it at quarter_mile and had linked to your post with the vid. Erm, sorry?

Heh. It's not that this is a bad thing, per se (though it could be if it means someone is direct-linking my vid somewhere that I don't know about). I'm just thinking -- whoa, 500 people downloaded my vid and no one said anything. Did I miss something important?

I doubt it was your post, though, since you made it on the 17th and virtually all of this downloading happened on the 21st.

I hope that it isn't the case. And the number request can be misleading sometimes. My web server stats said that there were ~1000 request for the fanmix, but I doubt 1000 people downloaded 'cause my bandwidth indicated otherwise.

I hope you solved the case though. Nothing in your referral indicated as to what might have possible happened?
