I arrived around quarter to 4:00pm on Friday, so just in time to find

loligo's room, which they were so kind as to share with us, and catch the last half of the Nearly New show.

heres_luck? Or was that later? Anyway, big table, lots of cool people, restaurant took 45 minutes to bring us our food. Yes, I get we were a large table, but we were also, like, the only people there and it was a fairly large restaurant and they were making wraps. What, did they need to bake the tortillas from scratch? I don't get it.

In any case, food arrived and it was decent and the company made up for everything because omg so many cool people! Yay for cool people!

Came back and hung with

loligo and Colfax talking SGA, if I remember correctly. I might be mixing up what happened when in my head. Planned out the anime pimping night.

Went to the con suite where they had a truly decadent spread of delicious finger food. Managed to not overeat, which is kind of amazing for me, but then I was looking forward to Club Vivid. I love dance parties and I rarely go to them, so I made sure I didn't eat so much it would make dancing uncomfortable.

Got

permetaform to buy me a heineken. Danced, danced, danced till my feet nearly fell off. Danced for about two and a half hours though I bowed out of, oh, three? four? songs. Wheeeeeee! At one point

permetaform and I dragged

absolut3destiny onto the dance floor. They had a ton of glow sticks. Permetaform made a choker, belt, and bracelets out of hers. I made a choker, but had no beltloops and a long sleeved top, so I ended up making glow stick anklets, which delightfully resembled 80's leg warmers. It was AWESOME. They put two screens at either end of the dance floor so you could continue watching vids as you danced no matter which way you were facing.

After Club Vivid I stood up on a chair and announced the anime pimping party , then limped off to my room (pretty much literally) to gather up my three volumes of Death Note and my One Piece CD's. Sadly, I didn't get the chance to pimp anyone into OP, but managed to successfully get

silviakundera interested in DN.

permetaform got her interested in Naruto. Yay!

Then it was bedtime, and that was the end of Friday.
