lierdumoaI had a lovely trip home. Hung out with my parents. We went out for sushi and dim sum and visited my aunt and other good family stuff. I found the high school artwork I left behind that I'd been asking my mother to send me. Got some important crap done. All around, very productive, and too much good food. A very nice weekend, minus the time I spent on the computer. Of course, I was on the computer when I was making LJ posts, so they presented a rather skewed view of the situation.
I've decided to post the fic in parts, as it is going to be ungodly huge. I've managed to get most of the beginning written, so I'm planning for finishing the rough draft of part 1 by Tues. night. Then my beta's can have a week to do their thing while I work on my Fresh Prince!John vid.
Need new headphones for that.

permetaform recc'd me a bunch of River/Jayne fic that I'm not in the right mindset to read right now, but will certainly look at later, because omg OTP.
Badly need to reply to comments. Was avoiding it all weekend because the dial-up, it burnssss. Will probably do that tomorrow morning.
