I'm happy to say I actually have made progress in the realm of the fannish. I'm somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 done with my Supernatural vid. I'm sure I'd be farther along, except that I've been working on original music. I'm trying to hurry up and finish my vid so I can get back to working on original music.
I'm one of the artists in the SGA big bang project. I've already figured out what I'm going to draw. Now I just have to draw it. The piece shouldn't take more than two or three days to finish.
Yes, I know I'm supposed to be in bandom now. Shhhh. I'll get to that later.
I'm having a lot of fun with the vid, actually. It's a kind of narrative I haven't done before -- a lot less plot based/chronological than most of my vids. Character introspection. It's not a particularly ambitious project, which is good, because this means I might actually finish it. I'm experimenting with cutting in ways that may cause seizures.
I really love my source. I forget how much I love my source, until I'm vidding and it's just, wow. My God, I love my source. Supernatural makes me so happy. I ... I love the breaking. It fills my cold black soul cavity with joy. Dean's suffering is just so pretty.
Today I'm going to try to get the rest of the way through the first chorus, possibly the first half of the second verse as well, which will put me somewhere around the two thirds mark.
