Update

So, uh. Because I'm slightly retarded, I forgot today was the VVC registration day until morgandawn reminded me when I called her in the late afternoon. I'm # 20 on the waitlist, so...

I've been spending all day swapping out watermarked tv-ripped clips in my vid with pretty clean DVD source. This is possibly the most boring and tedious thing I have ever done on a computer. Also, it looks like that really cool special effect I did that took me five hours I'm going to have to do again from scratch. I know, I know. I bring this on myself.

On the bright side, I'm very happy with the vid. Both my beta's are pleased as well.

New toys I got to play with in this vid:
- Dean Winchester (like a cat plays with its prey)
- luma key (surprisingly versatile)
- garbage matte (nothing too sophisticated)
- audio (butchered all to hell)
- flash frames (if you don't like fast cutting, you'll probably hate this vid)

Escapade is March 7-9. Vid will be posted to my journal/imeem March 9.


In the meanby I'll probably be vanishing off lj again, busy with my art classes/band, etc.
