Eating way too much.

Tried to make a music playlist to write to. Got eight songs on it before I gave up:

Am feeling very irritable towards roomate of late. Might have something to do with her walking into the room while "Natural Woman" was playing and deciding to sing along. Roommate likes to sing. A lot. Roomate is completely tone deaf. Urge to kill...rising...

OMFG how is already the 18th?

Still have to write 2 bedroom scenes (John, Rodney respectively) last half of a lab scene, 1 sex scene (2 sex acts), 1 gateroom scene (team) for part 1 of fic. Not in that order. Estimated wordcount remaining - 2500-3000 wds. Estimated wordcount total 6500-7500 wds.

Back when I was in college, we had a very scary freshman named Arabella who thought she could sing. She asked one of the bands that came to play on campus if she could sing with them. They foolishly obliged.

"Natural Woman" has been ruined forever.

Later on that year, she asked another band,(Down Boy, Down - featuring the as-yet-not-famous Boyd Tinsley of Dave Matthews Band fame)if she could sing with them. They asked her what songs she knew. She named one. They said they weren't quite sure if they knew that one and asked herto sing a few bars. She did. They said, "Gee, we don't know that song." She tried several other songs, one of which the band knew and eventually gave up.
