Had a marathon w/ [livejournal.com profile] permetaform last night. "The Defiant One" and all of season 2 except 2.08, which I did not have on my computer.

I don't really get in depth, though I might later if I'm inclined to meta.

OMG even my non-slashing roommate saw the end of "The Defiant One" and was like -- okay, they're walking towards each other while soft sweet music plays in the background? Oh good god. There's no way you can misinterpret that.

God, I somehow forgot how hot Ronon is. Jeeebus.

Also? "Lost Boys"

[livejournal.com profile] permetaform figured out why drug/ganglord Ford is OMGSOCREEPY. Every time he is like, "no guys, we have to trust each other," or, "we're a team," and giving out accolades and flattery and, you know, forcing these new trusted team members to take drugs and holding them at gunpoint and ::shudder::

::SHUDDER::

And then [livejournal.com profile] permetaform was all, "Oh! No, see he built himself a family. He's like, yes, I'm going to make my own family. By pulling off people's skins and putting them on dolls. Look! Family."

To which I was like, "Okay, I so did not need that image, but YES. THAT'S TOTALLY IT."

::SHUDDER::

This show it ... it goes places that I did not expect a network spinoff to go. It is all poking at it's characters like bacteria in a petri dish. Holding them over the edge of the volcano just to ::know them better:: In fact I think I will probably in the future find myself yelling PETRI DISH! VOLCANO! At the screen and expecting whomever I am watching with to know what I mean.

And poor Rodney I DO NOT LIKE THIS MANWICH, when Ford's evil frat boys close in on him with the ::cocking of the hip:: and the ::tilting of the head:: and the, "Let's get rid of all this unncessary personal space little scientist man.

Oh God, Rodney! John has to save you! Except I think it might be your turn to save John.

I love my show, but ::woe::

Watched "Trinity" again. It hurt less this time. I think because I was not looking at the screen at all and just listening to the audio.

Picking up [livejournal.com profile] spaggel today from the airport. OMGBASCONOMG. OMGSPAGGELISGONNABEHEREOMG.

::waves hi to Syd:: =D Looking forward to meeting you finally!

Oh! and [livejournal.com profile] lierdumoa? I've figured out why they thought Ford for Too Much Food...it's the chorus. ::facepalm::

Worse, it's enzyme!Ford.

::facepalm more:: I totally did not need that comparison in a Rodney vid...
