Holy shit! Best show EVAH!
Man, but I love this show. I love it, love it, love it. Okay, so first off Andy came in the house and he was trying to be all sneaky about hiding presents so he put them in the closet. Then he heard Ephram and Madison come in, so he hid in the closet so they wouldn't see his surprise. Then Madison was all like "your dad will be home soon" and Ephram was all like "screw him -- lets snog" (except he's not English, so he would never use the term snog, but you get the point). Madison was doing the whole "no means yes thing" and then the two of them were all macking on the couch and Ephram was like "teach me that tongue curling thing" and Madison was giggling because she was just so happy for obvious reasons, then Andy was all unable to open the door to the closet and he finally burst out of the closet and he was all "What the hell is going on!" Dude -- giant run-on sentence, there. But back to Andy.
To quote an icon I saw recently (used by
queenofalostart, created by
smithereen):

I was like -- holy crap! Andy was all like -- 'what is wrong with you two' with the ranting and everything. Oh, but he said this great line while Ephram and Madison were all sitting on the couch like *oh fuck, we're caught* -- "My first thought it to fire you (to Madison) and then to kill you (to Ephram) and maybe kill you a little too (to Madison)." Man, but I love Andy. I don't want him breaking up the Ephison, but I do love Andy.
So Andy doesn't fire Madison for Delia's sake. Then Delia is trying to film Madison and ask her what she's thankful for (it's a family tradition Ephram started the year before to make Delia feel better after their mom died and the old traditions didn't seem appropriate anymore). Madison gets all *I'm gonna cry* and she gives directions on what to do about the cooking (Thanksgiving dinner) and burns her hand. Andy is going to look at her hand, but Ephram's all like, "Let me take care of it" and he was holding her hand and they look in each other's eyes and it was all romantical and then Madison is doing the *I'm gonna cry* thing again and then she leaves and Delia was all confuzzled and Madison quits. Nooooooo!
And again with the horrible run-ons.
But wait -- there's more. Amy was having fun with her new beau and she ended up inviting him to Thanksgiving dinner because his family doesn't really do holidays. So he was there being the perfect gentleman but Bright had told Harold (Amy's dad) all the nasty rumors about her new beau (straight out of rehab, etc., etc.) so Harold was all like interrogating him over dinner and then kicking him out and then Amy was like "I'm leaving too." It was not happy -- though Amy had on this really cute outfit. It was sad, really, because she was all happy about her boy and than her daddy took him away and was all like "you're being selfish, you don't care about anyone but yourself" and she was like "fine, fuck you and the rest of the universe -- I'm numb inside etc., etc." Drama!
So then Andy was having this really tense dinner with his two kids. He called Delia some cute nickname and she was all like "You can't call me that when I don't like you." She asked to be excused. Ephram argued with Andy and then he also asked to be excused. Andy went to a bar where he found Harold, and Harold was all like "My daughter's dating a paroled addict" and Andy was all like "My sixteen year old son is dating his twenty year old babysitter" and then Harold ordered more drinks and lamented his pitiful situation. Finally Andy was like -- this is depressing. Hey, I know this casino we can visit (you see, he was doing medical doctor stuff for this Native American kid and ended up talking to the kid's dad, who ran a casino at the Indian Reservation).
In the meanwhile, Ephram followed Madison to her house (her folks were away for the holidays). She was wearing this white top and looking pretty hot in it because she's a good looking woman and all. Ephram -- oh, good God Ephram! He was looking hot this entire episode. I was like "Wow, that camera angle is really flattering!...And so is that camera angle!...And that one...And...OhfortheloveofGOD!" The whole episode, dude. Ephram was hotness. That whole thing with holidays and a fire in the hearth? Firelight is really flattering on him. As is natural light. Hell -- he just looked hot. As
daylight_shadow would say: *stare*
But I digress. So, yeah. Ephram was all like -- "Screw my dad and gimme another chance" and he did the whole puppy face and he was all sweet and...and...You know that "I'm so madly in love" speech she made from two weeks ago? He was all quoting it back at her. Wonderful. And here I was sitting there thinking -- "I'm doing some polysexual bi-orientational crushing here. You're hot. She's hot. Just be hot together." Of course, Madison cannot resist the Ephram lurve, so she's all like "Yeah, okay, comeravishme." Well, maybe not the last bit (but you know she was thinking it).
Dude, so Harold blew, like $7,000 at the casino, and he was feeling like shit. His wife's mom was badtalking him and his wife told her own mom to shut up and stood up for her husband (love that woman) and the evilgrandmafromhell left in a huff. Harold and...oh shit...what's her name again? Rose. Harold and Rose go up to tell Amy to come down and say goodbye to her grandparents and "Oh shit!" she's not there. Drama!
Okay, so back to Andy. Andy has a deep talk with the Native American guy and decides that he needs to let Ephram do things which might be dangerous and hurt him, so he decides to let Ephram date Madison. When he sees Ephram again, Ephram is at the house all "You can't stop me" and Andy's like "I know" and Ephram double takes like a mad thing, but it's all good. So yeah. Ephison is so canon I can't believe it. I'm like -- they're not killing off the ship! The ship liiiiiives! Vive le shippe!!!
Okay, I'll stop with that now.
So, yeah. Madison explains to Delia "I'm gonna be dating your brother now." Yeah! She so is! Okay, I said I'd stop that. Anyway, then Andy and kids go to the tree park to get a Christmas tree. Andy sees Linda there. Delia doesn't want anybody replacing her dead mommy, so she hates Linda with the burning passion of a thousand suns. Or with the burning passion of a bitter little girl. Whatever. Andy kisses Linda -- and it's all romantical and "Awwww!" And Delia sees everything. Drama! Again! Drama's gonna kill me dead, I tell you.
So yeah...back at the Abbot residence. Harold and Rose call the cops and everything. The police come and call out some police code involving the word 'amber' meaning 'missing child.' Bright's sitting all worried and I just want to hug him. I idly notice that he has pretty nice hands. Agh, but I digress. So, yeah -- police. Not. Good. People. Oh, and did I mention drama? There's plenty of that too.
Holy crapola! Love this show! If it were a person, I'd marry it.
Or, I'd just marry Ephram, if possible.
Okay, that's everything. Just so you know, I'm usually not this inarticulate in real life. I don't sound like a crazy ditz. I rarely say the word dude out loud. I don't use the word like nearly this often. I even employ proper grammar.
In other news, I've started watching One Tree Hill, and it's as malevolently addictive as everyone said. Also? I'm so gonna flunk out of college. It's not even fair. *sigh*
Okay, My roomate's watching School of Rock for the fourth time, and I'm totally gonna have that movie's soundtrack stuck in my head for the rest of eternity. At least it's good music. And a funny movie. Especially the piano playing kid. He's the best part.
;o)

Date: 2003-11-24 09:14 pm (UTC)Oh, don't worry. We know. To read my episode commentaries, you'd think I was thirteen and a squealing teeny. And I'm totally not thirteen. *g*
We know what Everwood does to a person.
And you've gotten sucked into the drug-addiction that is One Tree Hill as well? Hahaha.
Join the party, baby. Even while you watch you think, 'This is pure shit. And it's actually killing brain cells as I watch' but...you just can't turn the channel.
Saint Lucas and NathanandHaley and Dadzilla. Good times. *g*
Oi. I'm supposed to be smart. And educated. And informed. And discerning. Doesn't the WB know that?
