Badness

I've had insomnia for the past week. It seems to be getting worse. Last night I didn't sleep at all. I went to bed at 1:00, lay there for six hours, then got up for class. I may have dosed off somewhere in there, but it couldn't have been for more than an hour.

I'm not feeling too exhausted, but this morning I was really oversensitive to pollution from traffic when I was walking to the subway station. I ended up giving up my seat on the subway because I couldn't breathe with a smoker sitting next to me, even leaning away w/ my face turned. Thank God I at least don't have outdoor allergies.

I'll probably call my dad tonight and ask him for medical advice.

In other news, I re-did my outline for DeLorean!fic in more detail to see how much of it I had left to write -- about 7000 words. I was going to try to finish it this weekend, but now I'm thinking I might work on Mutability instead since I have only 4500 words left to write in part 3.

*hugs* I hope you'll be feeling better soon. Insomnia and allergy-like reactions sound like a pest. :( *pats*

Oh, ouch. *hugs you* I had insomnia last night, too--didn't get to sleep until six am--but not nearly as bad as all that. I hope it gets better.

Benadryl = antihistamine + sleepymaking

But talking to your dad sounds like a fine idea.

eee! excited. Don't think I've forgotten about your (really effing wonderful) fic. I likes me the John-as-girl fics a lot, b/c John makes a damn pretty girl, but Rodney-as-a-girl is especially pleasing.

mmm, advice about insomnia. I've been there, and there's nothing for you to do but suffer through it and wait for your body to want to sleep again. Dozing helps. Wanting desperately to be hit on the head and put out of your misery -- not so much helpful.
