lierdumoa | Update

Had a ball last Saturday partying with

nighean_isis. We talked fannish things, lounged around in the hot tub, drank Dirty Girl Scouts and eventually made it home. I ended up with a very minor hangover, and all was well.

My summer classes started Monday. I'm liking both so far. Writing and sketching. Writing class was interesting. There was a smelly fanboy (TM

absolut3destiny) who thought he knew everything about genre tv and movies (*koff*) and hijacked our group brainstorm with his obnoxious Gary Stu. The very shiny Indian guy who sat behind me, acting major from Pennsylvania, cheerleaded in high school. A girl with a bonafide milk allergy (as in she goes into anaphylactic shock if she eats ice cream). Again I found myself one of three girls in a class. There were something like thirteen boys. Though I doubt it will be as bad as my cinematography class last semester, in which I was the only girl left by semester's end.

Sketching. Oh God, I am *so out of practice* Jebus. Instructor's very cool, though. Much larger ratio of women, a lot of people majoring in graphic design. It looks like this class is really going to focus on pen and prisma color markers, which yay! Pen was always my medium of choice back in high school.

Tonight I'll be vidding, probably till 3:00am (I have all noon classes). I'll be stressed and bored and lonely and very grateful to anyone who wants to chat SGA, SPN or vidding on instant messenger. AIM, Y!M, same handle as lj.
