I realized that the true joy of meta essays is, unlike essays I have to turn in for a grade, I don't need to pretend to be objective. I can totally be like, MY SHOW IS AWESOME, AND ALSO AWESOME, but then again...AWESOME.

In other news, last night seperis managed to rope me into making her a birthday vid (about four and a half months away or so). I started skimming through my music playlist for potential songs. This was a terrible, terrible idea. I find myself wanting to vid Rodney to "He War" by Cat Power, which in addition to not really relating to Rodney, is also the wrong color scheme for SGA and I don't want to do color tweaking. Color tweaking hurts. I did enough color tweaking in Gia!vid and in Simon!vid and I think I deserve a color tweaking break.

Oh wait. How did I usually solve this problem? I found a fandom that fit the song better.

Okay, there's the other way I usually solve this problem. I pretend the vidbunny never existed. That works. Kinda.

Well, in any case, I also found an Elizabeth song. "The Wrong Band" by Tori Amos (yousendit link). And I have to vid this, even though again there will have to be color tweaking because, well, who else is going to vid Elizabeth? And, while I'm here:

Oh man, I DESPERATELY want to vid Elizabeth to Tori's Past the Mission. The problem with vidding her, as I realized while doing The Way We Get By, is that there's *so much talkyface,* and not many action-shots. Which, for me at least, makes things difficult.

Aagh -- yes. The thing about Elizabeth is that her *job* is talking. She's either on the radio with John while he's on missions or she's having group meetings or she's giving out announcements over the intercom.
