I'm leaving for college on Friday and I'm terribly behind in Freshman registration and I've done no packing. To make it worse, I can't seem to write out Ch. 2 of Bitter Water. It's driving me nuts.
I've been avoiding writing, actually. I blame my muse. She gives me an idea, and then makes it impossible to write. I hate that bitch. Hate her, hate her, hate her.
*sigh*
Well, even though I haven't written Ch. 2, I have outlined it thoroughly. If you want to know what happens in the chapter, you're welcome to read my rambling, barely coherent outline.

Bitter Water: Pt.1; Ch.2 Sev's mom takes him shopping and he meets Sirius at Madam Malkins. He feels a weird sort of awareness around Sirius - like all his dementor senses go into overdrive around the kid. He gets caught staring, but Sirius' mom drags him out of the store before Severus gets to say anything to him. section break. Hooks up with Rosier and Wilkes on the Hogwarts bus- they hang around him because they're the closest to knowing what really happened, and 'our parents may disapprove, but we think you're a bit of alright' plus they enjoy of doing something their mummies wouldn't approve of. In the meanwhile, Sirius meets James (who he's already friends with) and Remus (for the first time). section break. Sees Sirius again first day of school. Pettigrew is gossiping about Severus - *the prodigy*. Sev tells him to shut up, but he doesn't. Sev gets angry and throws a curse - at first looks like an itching spell, but then starts to burn (no fire, but burning pain) - spell is cancelled and McGonagall drags him off to the headmaster, Sirius is staring after him hatefully for picking on Pettigrew (cause he missed what Peter was saying and now Sev looks like a bully). Sev sees Sirius glaring *and his little heart breaks* Talk with Dumbledore (little boys shouldn't know curses like that). section break. Comes back to common room and gets in with Lucius, who's a fourth year but very impressed with Severus' little demonstration. Time passes. Aptitude for potions. [scene - James saying "figures the greasy git would be good at it - what would you expect with a father like his"] Hangs out more in the potions lab - greasy hair [never gets acne, though] 2nd year: Marauders banding together to play pranks. Snape watches them suspiciously - finds himself watching Sirius more than necessary. The night after they play their first prank, he goes to bed scheming retaliation. He has vague dreams mostly centering on Sirius' face, hands [nothing explicit]. He wakes up to find his hand below the waistband of his pajamas, and an unfamiliar stiffness underneath - sits up, wraps arms around his knees, knows he won't get back to sleep, waits for the sun to rise end chapter* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Well, I hope I've piqued your interest. Hopefully I'll be able to turn this trash into prose sometime soon. I need to get my mind off all this plot. I need to write a lemon. A nice, mindless lemon. Well...maybe later.
