lierdumoaSo I found out my Magicians meta posts weren't showing up in tumblr tag searches. I contacted support, and now my blog is "pending review" so who knows. Maybe my tumblr blog will just get deleted altogether and I'll finally be free. [ETA: So shockingly, they actually did unblock my blog in a relatively short amount of time]
ANYWAY, I wanted Magicians fans to actually have a chance of seeing my meta, so I posted it to AO3, which we all know officially voted to welcome meta posts back in 2013, given the plethora of meta posts we see on AO3 now (some of which are even written by board members!).
Or at least I thought we all knew that, but some asshole just left the following comment on my post, 2 seconds after it went up: "Ao3 is not a place to post this. Reported."
Not even trying to be polite about it.
Not even trying to check the actual community guidelines.

ETA: LMAO wild. A second person came onto my meta post saying (in so many words) "Stop playing the victim you know what you did wrong." Yeah -- I'm fully aware that I DID NOTHING WRONG HERE. Then asked me why I didn't just post meta on _insert list of commercial corporate websites that are actively hostile to fans, including one that was at that very moment actively blocking my meta posts from appearing in fandom tag searches_.
Of course before I could formulate a reply they deleted their own comment.
