They canceled Jake 2.0. The Fuckers. I hate UPN. Everyone running the station can eat shit and die. You know, this has happened to practically all the shows I have liked. They cancelled Now and Again (not to be confused with Once and Again). They cancelled Dark Angel. And Firefly. And seriously -- it's not like they replaced these shows with anything that got higher ratings. Augh!

In happier knews -- you know what cracks my shit up? All them righteous bitches at fandom_scruples. You know why? Because they think they're stigmatizing all the rilly, rilly eeeevaaaal porn writers on the net for, you know, posting their shit on their lj's without friends locks so any little kid can read it or, hey -- without making their websites password protected, again so any little kid can read it. Because, of course, it's not like every thirteen year old who's even slightly internet savvy could, you know, lie about their age in order to get a password. Protect children from internet porn! So there parents don't have to!

But the funniest part is that these people don't realize what they're really doing is running a craptastic fanfiction awards. I mean fanfiction awards tend to be really fucking stupid to begin with. But even more stupid than a regular fanfiction awards site is a fanfiction awards site that doesn't even know it's a fanfiction awards site. Yeah -- let's all make a list of all the people we think write the most wrong, most perverted -- hell, just the most porn on the internet.

And this week's new winner is...

Let's take a moment to visualize the backlash of this endeavor. theblacklist -- a community for writers to turn in all the worst fanfiction offenders on the net. Hey! Turn in yourself! fandom_scruples only actually covers writers of Harry Potter fanfiction, but there's a lot more of fandom out there that ought to be getting the shaft. I'm sorry -- was my language to fraught with phallic reference? Oh well. Also, note fandom_pillory. Their motto: "I post NC17 smut without even an LJ cut." Look -- it even rhymes.



You know, I claim I'm in fandom for the porn. For the romance. For the goodfic. For the community. But we all know the real reason I'm here -- for the stupid people. Cause laughter -- it does a body good, yo.
