Just so you know, this post is neither trying to be sarcastic nor ironic. I'm not putting on a brave face here. I don't *do* brave faces. This is me laughing at myself and laughing at my own jokes, all at the same time. Oh, and also laughing at haters.

Because they truly deserve to be laughed at.

And because it's fun.



Dude. The best thing ever happened today. It all started when daylight_shadow IM'd me early this afternoon. See, a while back there was this huge thing where someone popular in fandom invited people to post anonymously in their journal who they had a crush on. Well, now thewhiteprophet has done the same thing, only instead, she's asking people to post anonymously who they hate (see here). How did she get this idea? My guess is that it went something like this: "Gosh, I'm ever so bored. What shall I do? Oh, I know! I'll start a kerfuffle!"

Well, I don't hate anybody. And if I did hate somebody, I'd tell them to their face, not tell other people anonymously. However, I looked through the six pages worth of hate comments (it's fourteen pages now). I mean, these things are like trainwrecks. You have to look. So I looked. The seventh comment on the list is a flame for piecesofgale.

Of course, this person isn't joking. He/She's dead serious. Which is why I find it so funny. I would never have though my silly little RPG was worth hating. But wait. The joke gets better. Someone replied saying: Agreed. And, hate the person who started it...

[1] Fandom is a bunch of geeks getting together on the internet to indulge sexual fantasies and obsess over their favorite tv shows, therefore fandom "coolness" is a very relative term, to say the least.

[2] It occurs to me that the other members of the RPG might not find this as amusing as I did. Because of this, I'm locking any posts on my lj which make mention of who is playing which personality. Nobody needs to know who you guys are unless you want them to.
