So I already did a clip by clip outline of my vid. This morning I did a different sort of outline, by sectional themes. I realized something.
My vid is a three act play.

chorus B

verse 2

Most Brian vids just take a wholistic view on Brian, essentially telling us that he's got a rough exterior, but on the inside he's a fluffy bunny. Then some of them just show the fluffy bunny part. So I was wondering -- is my vid different? If so, then how?
I figured it out this morning. My vid is about the evolution of Brian. It's about the little boy that hurt people, got hurt himself, and in the end grew up. It's a wonderful story about coming of age at the beginning of the twenty-first century...okay, I'll stop now.
Of course, I could totally fuck up this vid, and it could end up horribly confusing and drawn out. But in my head? It is THE COOLEST BRIAN VID EVER. *bounces*

heh, that's usually where I get stuck in the middle of vidding and then take a protracted break to figure out wtf I was trying to say with the thing.
Hee! I think I figured out my protracted themes for all my vids except Pretty When You Cry. As for that one -- I don't know that it had one beyond -- See B/K. See B/K hurt. Hurt, B/K, hurt!
