This is going to be a very long post. I keep getting ideas for things I could post about. My brain is all over the place.

First Order of Business

This morning permetaform wrote a post on a political scandal. Apparently there is evidence that the wife of the governor of Texas wants a divorce. Because her husband was cheating on her. With a man. Who might possibly his new Secretary of State. I'll link to her post here. Granted, this information might be entirely untrue.

But dude -- the governor of Texas. And you know...you *know* that somehow this will lead to fanfiction being written. That's why we have a livejournal community like current_affairs. Make a political statement. Slash a politician.


Which brings me to a lengthy piece I like to call:

Second order of business. Recently a slasher started a large kerfuffle by saying that she doesn't support gay marriage. Both permetaform and bonibaru posted on the subject. (read here and here)

Third order of business. Hello fellow QaF'ers! I love you guys. Now I don't know if you know this, but...

Final thoughts:

Marriage is love. Actually, marriage is more than love. Marriage is also commitment and hard work. Marriage is like an equation with multiple solutions. So you see, marriage is math. And we all know that linear algebra is totally gay. (source)
