Okay, having a bit of a weird night. I complimented oshunanat, who had left a comment in misswindy's lj, on her icon (it was a One Piece icon -- how neato-keen is that?!!) and ended up having a conversation. I switched over to chatting on AIM so I could stop spamming misswindy's journal with off-topic comments. Complete stranger on my AIM buddy list.

Then I ended up responding to somebody's comment in ivyblossom's lj, and that turned into an off topic conversation which I decided to switch over to AIM. Another complete stranger on my AIM buddy list.

Both of these people friended me, which makes four in the past two days. Of the other two, soobunny's a fellow Ephram/Bright Ephram/Madison fan who I found while trolling friends' friends. I left a comment in her lj and she friended me in response. I guess it must have been a really interesting comment. The last (though chronologically the first), inkanaitis, who is apparently new to lj. Have no idea how she found me (please, folks, tell me if I'm getting gender pronouns mixed up -- I tend to assume people are female), so I'm guessing she read some of my fic somehow or found me while trolling her friends' friends.

So, yeah. Met four people in the past two days. Which is good, I suppose. I'm getting more people with which I can discuss my tv shows. I finally have someone other than evenstarjuliet with whom I may squee over One Piece. And speaking of that, I'm working on creating a One Piece "Gomu, Gomu, Gomu No Bitchslap!" icon. It'll be animated with that scene. evenstarjuliet, you know the one I'm talking about. Should bitchslap be two words?



In the world of Everwood, I have made icons. They include the one I am currently using. If anyone wants the one I am currently using, I should be done with it by next week. I had to put them up on my website because I can't find an image hosting service that will let me upload PNG files (and for some reason all my jpeg files end up with fucked up image quality). Speaking of Everwood, check out the Chris Pratt interview by fans (he's the actor who plays Bright on Everwood). Pratt was given a question concerning the HoYay between Bright and Ephram on the show. Not only did he answer the question, but he needed no explanation as to what the term "HoYay" meant. How cool is that? Very!

Oh yes, and for those of you who don't know: Hoyay -- noun; Homoeroticism Yay! Refers to homoerotic subtext in film, books or movies. Usually followed by a feeling of glee in the viewer. Found out something very cool today. A while back I downloaded a program (Capture Solution) that would allow me to get screenshots of video files, thereby allowing me to make animated gif icons out of video clips. It's a nifty program where you can actually select a scene and it will convert all the frames of that scene into picture files (jpeg or bitmap). Well, I found out something even more fantastic. My favorite toy has extra parts I didn't notice before! This same program can extract not only images, but also sound! I can get sound clips from episodes (wma or wav)! I'm currently using my new toy accessory to acquire sound clips from yesterdays Angel episode for daylight_shadow.

Oh, and speaking of which? This episode? Slashiest thing ever. I don't even think I can call it slash, because slash is subtext, and this was coming dangerously close to text. So, yeah. Last weeks episode was just really, really gay. The sound clips are transcribed below. Anyone who wants them can get them from me through AIM or yahoo! messenger.

Download bit torrent (just put those two words in a google search and you'll find it). Then, when you come across a torrent file on the internet, you can just click on it and it will start to download (you need a DSL connection or better to use this program).

As for where to find torrents, you just google for them. SuprNova (http://www.suprnova.tk/) has a lot. I know of a few other sites that specialize in anime. Generally it's easiest to just put the name of the show and the word "torrent" into a search engine.

Really? Well, some torrents don't work. I'm pretty sure all the ones on supernova should work fine, though.

If you're looking for season 1 episodes I can't help you. I wouldn't know how to get them. You're probably better off reading recaps. You should be able to get the season 2 episodes off suprnova, however. As far as I've checked, those torrents are active and functional.
