VividCon was awesome! I had a great time meeting everyone and had a blast at club night and karaoke night. I saw some truly awesome vids that I will squee about later. I'll post a more detailed report soon, hopefully.

I'm in DC now at my sister's place. Her boyfriend just left to visit his own sister in NY. The overnight layover was not fun. I didn't have warm enough clothes and so I was freezing. The airport was kind of nasty. There were tiny little mice scurrying around the floor. On the bright side, I figured out the beginning of my fish_like_bikes story. Progress! The plane was also freezing and they ran out of blankets before I could get one, so I didn't really get to sleep there either. I crashed on my sister's couch for a few hours.

My sister and I just did some yoga together and showered. Now we're going to go do laundry and get some dinner.

Hey, just dropping you a note (on the wrong post, I know, but still) to say I just downloaded your vid to If I Wrote You, and I really enjoyed it. I really like the way you've conveyed the sentiment of the song without hitting the viewer over the head—really well done, to my (admittedly non-experienced) eyes!
