I see this meme going around -- the whole "learn more about the people on your friends list" meme.

I figure I'm a bandwagondy type, so I'll jump.

Here's what I've told other people so far:

I'm a night person & a morning person. But I don't much like afternoons. I think Nightmare Before Christmas has the best soundtrack of any children's movie ever. I like to buy movie soundtracks, and some of my favorites are Red Violin and Braveheart (which is also my favorite movie of all time). I have two phobias -- rejection and failure. I'm mildly allergic to pineapple, but eat it anyway because it is my favorite fruit. I have very long, very curly black hair -- the kind that, if wet, can be used to bitchslap people in the face. I used to think I hated eggplant, but it turned out I just hated the way my mother cooked it (and she's usually such a good cook). I have a fetish for hands that pops up fairly frequently in my fanfiction. Tori Amos is my favorite musical artist, but Rufus Wainwright's "Hallelujah" has the coolest lyrics ever.


So, yeah -- tell me something about yourself, if you feel like it. There are 29 of you now who have friended me, and most of you I don't know all that well.

I studied classical piano for 13 years as a child/teenager. I dropped out of graduate school. I toured the east coast playing keyboards for a band in 1997. Before I embarked on my present career, i worked a number of jobs ranging from gogo dancing to interior housepainting. I have no pets. I'm from Tennessee and miss it something awful. I used to have a phobia of bandaids--still don't like them. I do have a phobia of large dogs.

I'm from California -- this tiny little conservative town no one's ever heard of. It was out in the country, where there were acres and acres of fruit tree orchards and my neighbor's feral cats kept down the gopher population. I went to a Catholic school a twenty minute drive away in Fresno, which some people have heard of (because this town/city produces enough meth to supply the entire world -- and I'm not even exaggerating).

Heh -- and I don't miss it at all. Though I do miss my friends from high school and my parents.
