Late late nights on instant messenger = the good life.

Also? OZ has temporarily eaten what little of my brain hasn't been consumed by QaF. Watched a few random episodes. The Beecher/Keller love is so very fucked up and gorgeous. And now I know that QaF has spoiled me for every other fandom, because I keep hoping for some raunchy Beecher/Keller prison!sex and not getting it.

If I can just download a few more episodes I'll be able to make my "Pretty When You Cry" vid. I was going to make a Lex/Lionel Smallville vid, but that fandom already has plenty of vids, and I think making a Lex/Lionel vid would cause me too much psychological damage. As to OZ -- thank God I only got a vidbunny and not a plotbunny. Because the angst? Would kill me. Any fandom where there is no viable way in which to write a happy ending is not a good fandom for me to develop plotbunnies.

Of course, pr0nbunnies are another matter...

The good life. Indeed. Either that or a crude semblance... :))

Well, there's always the temporary reprieve between Season 3 and Season 4 of Oz. =)

Perhaps I shouldn't talk about what I'm planning on doing all the time. Because I tend to take a lot longer than I think I will. Be warned -- you may be in for a long wait.

Me Again

Okay, so I stopped by again, and of course saw the word OZ, so I read it and had to answer (you're killing me with this coming out of lurkdom thing)

Anyway....

The thing about OZ, was that when it first came out I fell in love with Beecher and Keller. QAF didn't even exist yet and B/K fan fiction was all over the place. I was drowning (willingly) in it, specifically the ones written by a person named Angel. She had me sweating and generally losing tons of valuable time when I should have been doing all the things that must be done.

You're absolutely right though, the angst was leading us to a place where I don't think anyone could find comfort.

But I'm loyal.... except when I'm not, so I kept watching.

Then Brian and Justin showed up in episodes 101 & 102 and I could barely remember Beecher and Keller's names.

I tried though (loyalty and all).

I taped OZ in one room and QAF in the other, because somebody decided to run the only two shows I liked on tv at the same time on the same night (hello, can I take a breath here or what). By the time the last season of OZ rolled around, I couldn't even pretend I was interested anymore. I taped it anyway to watch when I got around to it, which was usually quite a bit later, because I was now wasting all my time watching, rewatching or reading QAF.

And now here I am. Hoping Brian & Justin's run goes a little longer, enjoying being reminded of my first loves' Beecher and Keller and sort of wondering what's coming up next.

Anyway..
Colleen
