New workout is going...well, it's going. This is the one where after class I walk around downtown San Francisco aimlessly for an hour. I found Chinatown today. That was cool. I had no money to spend. That was less cool. But hey, I think that's 5 miles altogether for the day. The only part that really blows is the air quality (AHAHAH GET IT?!? GET IT?!?). Well, that and the blinding summer sun. My eye is twitching, for once not because I've been staring at my monitor too long, but because I spent too much time squinting against bright, glaring pavement. I think I'm now a 34 C instead of a 36 C. I'm visiting the parents weekend after next, so I can get my mother to buy me a new bra then. Aaaaah, it is good to be a college student.

I finished getting all the papers signed that I needed signed to change my major. Good times, good times. Summer classes finish in 2 weeks. Then VVC. AWESOME! Then a week with my sister in Washington DC. EVEN MORE AWESOME! She e-mailed me this morning with lunch and dinner plans at fancy expensive restaurants and asked me if there was anything else I wanted to do. I know I want to see the Smithsonian, but don't have too many other ideas. Any suggestions?

My adhesive bras arrived in the mail today. I'm still waiting for my actual outfit, but that should arrive sometime this week.

I keep doing things last minute in the mornings and then forgetting to put on sunscreen. And then I tan, and tan, and tan, and tan, which will be bad when I run out of tanktops and have to wear all my t-shirts and get that whole farmer tan thing going on. Not that a tank top tan is all that much sexier. I need more spaghetti strap tops.

In high school, when I was on the swim team, I actually tanned through my suit. I was looking in the mirror one day going, "WTF are these bizarre splotches all over my ass?" only to realize it was the pattern on the back of my team suit, branded onto my skin. Haaaaaate tanning.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] wistful_fever is finally back online after a long haiatus and said she'd be on to chat with tonight on IM. I am like yaaaaaaaay. And she finally got herself high speed internet, which is even more yaaaaaaaaaaay. Sometime soon I will make a post about how fucking elegant her vids are. I've watched her last one so many times I have the lyrics memorized.

On the DC stuff- there are a bunch of Smithsonian Museums- the Air and Space one is probably the one you are thinking of, but also on the Mall are the Smithsonian American History (must see) and Smithsonian Natural History museum. And if you guys have transport out to Dulles (I think there's a bus, too), the Udvar-Hazy branch of the Air and Space Museum is AWESOME! Three huge hangers full of any plane you can imagine, plus a Space shuttle! It's HUGE!

The International Spy Museum is cool and I also love the National Zoo and the National Cathedral (which are actually somewhere near each other). If you go to the Zoo, go in the early morning when it's somewhat cool- less tourists and also the animals move around more since it's not crazy hot yet.

Hope you have a great time! And you'll never be able to take it all in, (I've been here four years and still haven't seen it all), so just enjoy what you do get to.
